Another year was completed in the history books for the AWHONN National Convention, 2024. It was held in Phoenix, Arizona, during a heat wave. It was a drier heat, so it was very tolerable, provided you didn’t stay in it too long! 🙂

Lots of beautiful topics were presented, including the C.H.O.R.I.O project, AFE management, Public Policy, ERAC, Ethics in Labor and Delivery, Engaging Learners through gaming, Maternal Fetal Transports, DEI, Indigenous women, Safe Care in the ED, Diagnosing Sepsis, Birth Preferences, Stress in the NICU, EFM Tracings, Maternal Cardiac Disease, VOTE, and Lactation during severe MM.

Many posters covered a wide range of topics and studies being performed around the country to improve practice.
